Part 5 of our analysis brings together our findings and discusses our recommendations on how media reporting can be improved to better hold perpetrators accountable and prioritise the voices of the victim/survivors.

This research was based on a large database of online news article on strangulation. We would encourage any researchers or VAWG sector practitioners who are interested in the data set and further research to contact us.
